Since Covid began have you been noticing new and different aches and pains showing up? Are you dealing with more conflict in your relationships? What’s causing that?
Now that my book launch happened, I’ve been excited to be thinking of ways to share my book with the world. This week I learned of different things I could do like having book signing events at libraries and bookstores. All kinds of things would cross my mind and each time I would think of the restrictions being enforced because of Covid. I started to become aware of how those restrictions were impacting what was going on inside of me. I felt unusually heavy and there was tightness in some muscles of my body. This was getting my attention. What was I thinking about? Whatever I was thinking caused me to feel the heaviness and my physical body responded. Sure enough…there they were! My thoughts of “I can’t” repeatedly re-minded me of what I couldn’t do. Those thoughts were causing me to feel restricted impacting everyone of my other bodies…physical tightness, emotional frustration, spiritual unrest and a dense heavy feeling in my energy.
“Physical pains will often result because of influences which are non-physical. (quote from ‘Relatefully’)
What kind of thoughts are you telling yourself since you’ve been enforced to stay inside because of Covid? These could be any kind of thoughts related to what you’re experiencing. Maybe it annoys you to have to home school your children. You can’t seem to stop eating. You’re tired of having to sit in zoom meetings all day. How are your thoughts making you feel? How is your physical body responding to what your thinking and feeling?
You see you are more than a physical body! You have other bodies you work with every single day of your life. Your mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic bodies. For you to find peace inside with what you’re thinking, you need to heal and resolve whatever is causing the unrest related to those thoughts. In other words, if you want to feel at peace with your children being home schooled, you need to heal and resolve the unrest you feel inside when you think of home schooling. Only then will you feel a difference inside and notice positive changes being reflected back to you from the outside.
Now that I’m aware of that little voice inside telling me “I can’t” I now move forward with greater awareness. Any time I’m aware of using the words I can’t, I now look past that to create something I can do instead.
Great relationships begin with a great relationship with yourself….and that begins from the inside out.
Wherever you are on your journey, may you find what works for you…find your own truth…and you will always be guided to feel at peace inside.
