Children don’t always know what they are saying. Many times precious gems come out of their mouths lifting our spirits beyond measure.
Yesterday our oldest daughter Alyson and her family were over visiting. The two grandsons love playing ball with us. I chase them running from room to room trying to get the ball away from them. We have so much fun. This day one of the boys fell off the bed backwards and hit his head on the wall. I held him for a bit and off he went to sit with his mom.
I was aware I hadn’t asked my Divine to protect the children from harm throughout our game. So I said to our four year old grandson, ‘Knox let’s pray to Divine Mother asking her to protect you boys in Light so you don’t get hurt.’ All of a sudden Knox ran out of the room. I’m finishing my prayer and I hear Knox in the kitchen. He said, ‘Mom, protect us light.’ Alyson didn’t know what he was saying and Knox repeated himself. By now I was in the kitchen with them. I explained to Alyson what I had said. She knew then that Knox was praying to her because he knew she was his mother. The other gift I received when I went into the kitchen was Alyson had our other grandson laughing so hard. That whole experience brought so much unexpected joy to our hearts.
Children are truly innocent when speaking. Knox so innocently helped me to pray by running to his mother asking for protection. To me we now had all the protection we needed to finish the afternoon of fun….and I might also add exercise.
