We recently did a radio show focusing on unwrapping presents. Compare that to your body, to yourself. Do you like your wrapping? Does it remind you of sparklely paper or newspaper? Is your value dependant on whether you have a university degree or certificate on your wall? Are you as educated as others or even undereducated? Is your wardrobe in with the latest fashions and styles? Do you try to keep up with the Jones, because they have means you have to have too?
What about the non-physical part of your wrapping. The parts you don’t see but others may. When you are happy and your energy shows it. Have you ever experienced someone who was really happy around you and you felt it without even seeing them. Or like when you are feeling down about something and you aren’t your normal self and someone comments on it. Are you ok with you? Are you ok with that present?
We can put pretty bows on and add colored paper, but does that make the present?
We can put pretty make up on and buy a beautiful outfit for an occasion but does that make you?
I remember for my daughter’s wedding, I lost weight and felt great. I bought myself a new dress and matching shoes along with a new bracelet. I had to look good because I was the “mother of the bride”. I did all I could to look great. Two days before the wedding, there it was, a coldsore on my lip. To me that was horrifying because in the past, my coldsores would spread all around my mouth and was quite traumatizing to me. And each time I got them before, Sheila and I would do energy work on it to clear it. The more I thought about it, the bigger it was getting. So I phoned Sheila to help me clear it. What was different about it this time was, it didn’t spread, it didn’t itch, it didn’t really even grow. That was totally different. It was there on my lip but didn’t grow into a big sore. And it landed up on the day of the wedding, my lipstick could cover it up. What I recognized is that when we do energy clearing, it may not be totally gone, but it will definitely be different. Each time we cleared it, it was less and less. What I learned from that experience was it may seem like we are in control of our wrapping but sometimes that wrapping isn’t what we want it to be. If there is a tear in the wrapping that wasn’t there before, doesn’t make the present bad. Our wrapping is so much a messenger for us. Unwrapping our presents lets the surprises on the inside come out. We may not know what the surprize is going to be, but it will be. If we don’t like the surprize, just keep unwrapping. There’s a gem or a jewel in there somewhere.
We just have to be ok to unwrap the gift.
Happy unwrapping your gift.
